overview : The Ukrainian Museum concerns itself with the Ukrainian experience, past and present. The emphasis is on the cultural legacy of a people whose thousand year journey through history abounds with dramatic, turbulent and exciting events, as well as extraordinary accomplishments and achievements.

collections : The Museum's holdings include fine art (paintings drawings, graphic works, and sculptures created by Ukrainian artists who worked in Ukraine, Europe, and the United States), folk art (featuring attire from various regions of Ukraine, ritual cloths (rushnyky) and kilims, and a broad selection of richly embroidered and woven textiles, as well as ceramics, metalwork, brass and silver jewelry, decorative wood objects, and an outstanding collection of Ukrainian Easter eggs or pysanky), and archival collections (rare photographs, documents, books, maps, posters, stamps, coins, and paper currency).
