Visit over 70 live animals in our wildlife sanctuary, experience digital planetarium shows in the NEW Travelers Science Dome at the Gengras Planetarium, hide under a turtle shell in Turtle Town, walk into a life-size kaleidoscope, test your skills in designing and racing cars; and stop by the Explore Store for take home science fun. Younger children will enjoy tangible and stimulating play. Older children will put their inner-scientist to work on scientific exploration and discovery. collections : Dig up the past in our newest exhibit Excavation Station: Dinos, Rocks & Fossil. It includes three dig pits, a mining sluice, live alligator, rock and mineral samples, and a life-size tyrannosaurus rex model. Enjoy your step into the past with a break Dino Cafe with tables and vending machines.
New in October 2007 is the Travelers Science Dome. Featuring digital planetarium shows: Astronaut, Molecularium, Zula Patrol-Under the Weather, and Oasis in Space. Go to our web site for current show times.
