overview : The San Luis Obispo Children's Museum provides education through exploration - enabling preschool through elementary age children to learn about subjects such as health, safety, history, humanities, science, nature, the arts, and their community through entertaining, enticing, quality hands-on exhibits and programs which encourage adults to share the learning experience with children. - Located in historic downtown San Luis Obispo.

hours (subject to change) : open from 11am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday and from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday. The Museum is closed on Mondays for maintenance but is open many Monday holidays.
