overview : The National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning contains a large collection of military art and artifacts and follows the steps of the American foot soldier across two centuries of courage and determination. Triumphant victories, dispiriting defeats, and day-to-day life are interpreted in the paintings and sculpture of World renowned artists. Weapons carried by allies as well as enemies and a wide range of support equipment from the American Revolution to the present are on display.
