It is a non-profit organization recognized by the state of New York, Board of Regents. Its purpose is to establish, furnish, maintain and operate a museum housing and to collect early pianos of historical, technical and musical significance, including the acquisition and restoration of same. collections : I have opened my small collection of grand pianos to the public in Montreal, Canada. Starting modestly with three instruments: a Pleyel, Paris, 1930; John Broadwood & Sons, London, 1920 and a Steinway, New York, 1874.
