overview : For generations the Country Doctor was a revered person in the community. Dr. DÂ’Armon and Dr. Whitley practiced medicine in this wonderful building, which now honors the heritage of the country doctor. Also at this historic site is the Ira V Ferguson Country Store Museum built in the late 1920s and arriving in the spring of 2004 is the 100+ year old Ashcraft Schoolhouse.
collections : On a trip to this museum, visitors will see vintage medical instruments and equipment, an apothecary and physicians office.
