Our most famous distinction is as the birthplace of Thomas Alva Edison. Featured collections at The Museum include the Mildred Smith Coulton Doll Collection and the Robert Mowry Glass Collection. 1840's Historic Homes are a delight to tour. Beautiful grounds and gardens. hours (subject to change) : Open May-September. Hours vary. Group tours of 10 or more always welcome by appointment. The Edison Birthplace Museum, a separate museum, coordinates group tours if you wish to tour both museums.
