overview : The Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) is a 35-year old museum that pioneered support in the Los Angeles area of the aesthetic and cultural merit of traditional folk arts and objects crafted by hand. - In December 1998, the Folk and Traditional Arts Division of Cultural Affairs merged with the Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum. In our newly formed partnership we will continue to exhibit traditional folk art and crafts, as well as continue our regular programs and involvement in national traditional folk art conferences and publications.
