overview : Opened on July 23, 1995, the National Inventors Hall of Fame features hands-on interactive exhibits and displays, each encouraging visitors to explore the ideas of discovery, creativity, and invention. Also featured is the Hall of Fame, which showcases hundreds of inventors who have significantly changed our lives for the better. Additional facilities include the museum store (no admission fee necessary) and accommodations for school visits.
