overview : The Humboldt County Museum focuses on the rich pioneer history of Humboldt County. On the extensive museum grounds you can visit the Victorian Mill Farm Hous, Hardy Church, Red Barn, Will School Log Cabin, Jail, Kettle Shed, Chicken Shed and the Clancy Building. Each building displays artifacts appropriate to its history. The Clancy Building includes a Research Room which has an extensive collection of maps, photographs, newspaper clippings, books, and much more. - Located 1 mile east of Dakota City, Iowa, just across the bridge over the East Branch of the Des Moines River on County road P56

collections : The Campbell Collection of American Indian artifacts is housed in the Clancy Building. - There is also an extensive collection of antique cars and farm machinery. Displays include a post office, bank, and photography studio.
