overview : The Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum was formed in the late 70's with a mission to provide an educational corporation dedicated to preserving, protecting, promoting and sharing Northern California maritime history, mainly the Humboldt Bay region. - Through the years the museum has grown via artifact donations and relentless volunteer efforts. The museum is self sustaining, relying on monetary donations from the general public and a dedicated staff of volunteers.
