overview : A general history museum open to the public six days a week, offering exhibitions and information relative to the history and heritage of this area. We have 9 buildings on the property, and we work closely with the teachers, schools, families, and the community to improve the educational experience in our city. Visitors and tours are welcome, at no admission charge. We have experienced and knowledgeable guides to increase your enjoyment.
collections : We consist of a Victorian cottage furnished to the period of 1880-1920; a one room school; rural store; train depot and rail road car; small chapel; barn and farm collections. Our collections and our rural living activities are used to relate our interpretation of the American Experience in the context of our regional culture.
