overview : Journey back in time as you ride the Georgetown Loop, an engineering marvel originally built in 1884. The narrow-gauge railroad runs 4.5 miles, connecting Silver Plume and Georgetown, with tracks scaling an elevation of 640 feet over mountainous terrain. Along the route, visitors may stop for guided tours of the historic Lebanon Silver Mine. The Park includes an 1884 depot, the Morrison Interpretive Center, and an early 1870s silver mine mill, and four reconstructed mine buildings. The property is operated in partnership with Railstar Corporation.
