overview : Visit the site of an 1835 adobe fur-trading post and follow the paths of founders Louis Vasquez and Andrew Sublette. The archaeological site, excavated in the 1960s, and reconstructed adobe fort are listed in the National Register of Historic PLaces. Annual events include the Primitive Arts Festival, Tour of Four Forts, the Kid's Fur Trade Rendezvous, and the Rendezvous Workshop Series.

collections : The museum features displays that evoke the fur-trade era, exhibits of Plains Indians objects, and descriptions of the archaeological excavations.

hours (subject to change) : Summer hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day): Mon - Sat, 9:30 am-4:30 pm, and Sunday, 1pm-4:30 pm. Winter Hours (Labor Day-Memorial Day): Wed-Sat, 9:30am-4:30pm, and Sunday, 1pm-4:30pm.
