overview : The Fort Morgan Museum is a regional history museum accredited by the American Association of Museums. In addition to permanent exhibits focusing on the cultural and economic history of the community the museum hosts a wide array of temporary exhbits. The recent expansion has also added an expanded museum store and research facility.
collections : The museum's research facility houses many records of interest in genealogy research including microfilm, yearbooks, and community directories. Three dimensional collections include agriculture, a 1920s soda fountain, and rail road history. Big Band leader Glenn Miller is well represented as he is a 1921 graduate of Fort Morgan High School.
hours (subject to change) : Monday through Friday 10-5 Saturday 11-5 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings 6-8 research room- by appointment
