overview : Camp Lowell was first estabilshed in 1866 on the outskirts of Tucson. - Guides dressed in Army surgeon costume of the 1870s offer tours exploring the medical history of the fort on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m. through April 18. - Permanent photo exhibits: The View From the Barracks looks at the daily life of enlisted men in the garrisons of the Southwest and We Served at Fort Lowell documents Army life.

hours (subject to change) : Museum hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission: adults, seniors/students, free to kids under 12.
