overview : The rich history of Farmington’s past from early pioneer settlement to the present-day is displayed in the exhibition: Farmington - 100 Years of Change. Created to celebrate Farmington’s centennial year, the exhibit highlights many of the people, places, businesses and events that made Farmington what it is today. The exhibition explores early settlement history, the area’s agricultural past and the growth and development of the town to a regional city. The Farmington Museum system includes not only the main facility, but also E³ Children's Museum & Science Center, Riverside Nature Center, and Harvest Grove Farm & Orchards. The museum sponsors the annual Farmington Renaissance Faire in October and the Haunted Wood, held on the evening before Halloween. There is an annual art show and a Navajo rug auction. collections : Artifacts, photographs and paper items relating to the history of Farmington and northwestern New Mexico.

hours (subject to change) : Monday through Saturday, 8 - 5. Hours at the Nature Center and Children's Museum vary. Call before visiting.
