collections : The Eiteljorg is the only museum in the Midwest to combine collections of American Western art and Native American art and objects. The highlight of the collection is works by members of the Taos (New Mexico) Society of Artists, such as Blumenschein, Phillips and others, as well as such artists as Remington, Russell, O'Keefe, Terpning and Riley. The Native American collection presents the art of cultural groups from coast to coast and includes pottery, basketry, woodcarvings, beadwork, apparel and more. A special permanent gallery is devoted to the Native peoples of Indiana.
