overview : The Ft. Payne Landmarks Museum is housed in the old Ft Payne railroad depot built by the Alabama Great Southern Railroad in 1891. - The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was used as a passenger station as late as 1970.

collections : We have a large amount of pre-settlement Indian artifacts on display. - Also on view are period clothing and other items from the turn of the century, many donated by the townspeople. Among the displays are farm equipment, household items, clothing, tools and machinery.

hours (subject to change) : Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am-4pm, Sunday 2-4pm
