overview : The Cheektowaga Historical Museum has several displays of significance to the Town, for example, an exhibit of artifacts from the estate of George Urban who owned a flour mill in Buffalo, NY. The house, though altered over the years, still stands on Pine Ridge Road. Dignitaries such as President Grover Cleveland and Mark Twain were entertained at the home. - Items donated to us by descendents of Augustus Kuhn from his days in the Civil War are also on display. - A doctor's office from the 50's, with items from the late Dr. Venddetti , along with Indian and War of 1812 items, are now available for viewing as points of historical interest.
