overview : To support the education of Indiana citizens of the importance of agriculture in our way of life and to help them understand where we came from to our current quality of life. Mission Statement To define and establish programs to educate the general public on the value of American agriculture in their daily lives. The mission of the Center for Ag Science and Heritage is to educate through outreach and museum facilities what agriculture is past, present, and future from soil to dinner table. Agriculture touches our lives every day. Food, fiber families and a commitment to care for animals, the land and the environment. From conception to consumption the, Center can tell the story of our past, present and challenge us to seek an exciting future for food and agriculture. To better educate the public about where our food comes from. To educate our children the same. Mission is to promote agriculture, its future and past to non-farm audiences through programs and forums – outreach. Our facility, a restored 1936 milking barn, contains our offices and is available for rental.
