overview : The mission of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art is to excite, engage and educate the community in the visual arts through our collection, exhibitions and programs.

collections : devotes eight galleries to selections of works from our permanent collection. The Museum owns over 5,000 works of art. We have the world's largest collections of works by Grant Wood, Marvin D. Cone, and Mauricio Lasansky, and display their work at all times in four galleries on the first floor and four galleries on the second floor.
