overview : The CEC-Seabee Heritage Center documents, collects, preserves, and researches the history of the United States Naval Construction Force, the Civil Engineer Corps, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command for the purpose of interpreting naval facilities engineering history through educational services and exhibits.

hours (subject to change) : Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Museum is closed all Federal Holidays) Base Access Policy: Visitors without an appointment and/or valid DoD identification will be turned away at the gate. The Museum is open to the public, but current force protection conditions permit only individuals with valid Department of Defense identification to come on board base without a scheduled appointment (Discharge papers are not considered a valid form of DoD identification). Individuals without required identification need to contact the museum at (805) 982-5165 to schedule a visit. Guided tours are available for groups of 15 persons or more in weekdays. Veterans groups are welcome!
