overview : Located on the historic Cos Cob Harbor, Bush-Holley Historic Site features the circa 1730 National Historic Landmark Bush-Holley House, center of Connecticut's first Art Colony. From 1890 to 1920, over 200 art students studied atthe Holley's boarding house with leading American Impressionists John Henry Twachtman, J. Alden Weir, Theodore Robinson and Childe Hassam. Guided tours feature outstanding 18th and early 19th century Connecticut furniture and Impressionist art.

hours (subject to change) : Visitor Center is open Tuesday - Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed Easter Sunday, Independance Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day Bush-Holley House by tour only. Tuesday - Sunday 12:15 p.m.; 1:15 p.m.; 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Weekends only during January and February.
