overview : The Old Chaffee County Courthouse now houses the Buena Vista Heritage Museum. The courthouse was completed in 1883. - The Chaffee County Council of the Arts and the Buena Vista Model Railroad display are located on the second floor. The old county jail located to the rear of the old courthouse is now used as the school administration building.
