overview : This vessel's sailing days are over, but it makes an interesting museum. It was built in the 1920s and is a replica of the type of ship that brought New England missionaries around Cape Horn to Hawai'i in the early 1800s. A small museum below the decks features the "World of the Whale," a colorful multimedia exhibit about whaling and local sea life.
