overview : The Brandywine Zoo, Delaware's only zoo, is owned and operated by Delaware State Parks in cooperation with the Delaware Zoological Society. It is located in Wilmington, Delaware in the middle of the 180 acres of Brandywine Park, across from the Brandywine River and about 100 yards from Warner Elementary School. The zoo itself covers 12 acres of land.

hours (subject to change) : open 365 days a year, from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Admission is charged from April - October.
