overview : Home to some of the county's and the west's most interesting displays. - The displays show what life was like in the early days of Beaverhead County. They show the mining techniques, the living conditions and personal items from the people of the area.

collections : Gallows: Where Henry Plummer was hung. A piece of the gallows is still housed inside the museum. Aspen Tree Trunk: It is believed that Henry Plummer carved his name in it. The Boardwalk: Over 1500 branded boards surround the complex. Lewis and Clark Diorama: Located in the train depot, housing the visitor center and Chamber of Commerce. Sheep Wagon: Just like they use in the hills. A definite part of old west history.
