overview : Bass Museum of Art derives its central purpose from its permanent collection of more than 2,800 objects including European old masters, 20th century paintings, sculpture, graphics, photography, and architectural and design arts from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. As the community has changed and grown, so have collections. They are an integral part of the collective cultural fabric of the region, fully reflecting the diversity of BMA's constituency and the interests of community collectors. This collection offers an excellent introduction to the history of art and architecture and is one of the few major collections in the region.

collections : European paintings, Dutch and Flemish Masters, 18th century English portraiture, 19th and early 20th century paintings of landscapes and historic subjects, sculpture from the Renaissance, Baroque and Roccoco, works on paper by artists such as Rembrandt, Dürer, Daumier, and Toulouse-Lautrec, 20th century photography, Sculpture by American and Latin American contemporary artists,
