overview : Today the is the headquarters for the Bartholomew County Historical Society. The museum continues the responsibility to collect, preserve and exhibit the county's history. The museum is centrally located in downtown Columbus, providing a convenient location for all to visit. In addition to the beautiful preservation of historical architecture, the museum has four rotating galleries. The galleries display a number of exhibits created from the collection of artifacts and archival material.
