overview : The Master Plan or vision for the Antique Boat Museum is to be: the finest freshwater boat museum in North America and a major year- round tourism destination for the economic, educational, and historic benefit of the 1000 Islands Region. The Antique Boat Museum is "truly THE freshwater antique boat museum."

collections : The Boat Collection has over 200 boats including canoes; sail and rowing skiffs; skiff-putts; disappearing propeller boats; hydroplanes; launches; utilities; and cruisers. -- The Motor Collection spans the development of marine propulsion systems from the late 1800s to post WWII. Included are the oldest working gasoline powered motors in existence and the first (Serial No. 1) Johnson outboard ever made. -- The Artifact collection relates to the Museum's statement of purpose including boat furniture, equipment and hardware, boat building molds, plans and prints, paintings, models, half-hulls, woodworking tools and fishing equipment.
