The Museum involves audiences directly in the exhibition process, programs and and workshops that stimulate lifelong learning and appreciation of: African art and culture and African American history and culture.

hours (subject to change) : Open Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Closed Sundays and Mondays, Open on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Open until 8:00 p.m. the third Thursday of each month for Art Walk.
