Twenty buildings on 32 acres of grounds and gardens, house exhibits on logging, boats and boating, mining, outdoor recreation, transportation, rustic furniture , and on-going programs and special events offer a variety of interesting activities for the whole family.
collections : Is it carriages or canoes that you find interesting? Women's history or woodsmen's lore? Adirondack photography or public policy? Baskets or boilers, blizzards or blowdowns, beanpots or butter churns? Whatever your interest, the Adirondack Museum makes its collections available for research and study. Through appointment with the Curatorial Department or Museum Library, access to thousands of objects, photographs, documents, and pieces of artwork is available.
