collections : Collections represent 10,000 years of Native American life in Maine. Archaeological artifacts include stone and bone tools and pottery. Historic collections represent the period from Contact through the 18th and 19th centuries. Contemporary collections include the finest examples of Native crafts.
hours (subject to change) : Downtown open year-round except January. Abbe at Sieur de Monts open 9 am- 4 pm daily late May - mid October. Downtown Abbe open 9 am- 5 pm daily in summer and 10 am - 5 pm Thursday - Sunday in winter. See website for details.
