overview : The Museum is dedicated to providing an educational experience that focuses on the historical farming practices done on the property during the period between 1890- 1910. Our historic facility resides on a twenty-acre farm that includes woodlands, wetlands, grain fields, and livestock grazing. An 1832 farmhouse and barn have been restored to provide visitors with a unique look into the local history of agriculture in Pennsylvania. The facility provides an opportunity for children and adults to participate in activities based on the historical and scientific foundation of farming, through educational programs, special events, and the opportunity to meet and learn about our resident horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and cows. Customized group tours can be arranged.
