overview : in the 1950's in Post War Europe, people needed an inexpensive alternative method of transport besides scooters. Microcars were born and were apparently designed, built and sold in an incredible variety. Most of these small cars are virtually unknown in the US. The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum is apparently the largest collection of these vehicles in the World...and it's in the USA. The website provides an extensive virtual tour that is easily accessible by all web browsers and those with dial-up connections will not suffer trying to view the collection. Also- the website is a nice alternative for those who cannot travel to see the Museum itself. There is nothing to buy here. Just history and a collection of very very odd vehicles.
