overview : The ArtCentre is a private non-profit organization established to promote the growth and development of emerging community arts groups. Every 4-6 weeks the ArtCentre installs a new exhibition. Most of the artists are from the North Texas community, from time to time other states are represented as well. The ArtCentre is housed in historic downtown Plano in a building built around the 1900's. The ArtCentre is known for it's unique and family friendly exhibitions as well as it's children's art programs in the summer.
