overview : IAM is one of the few museums where all planes fly, and can give rides through the Warbird Experience and Sponsorship Programs. - All IAM aircraft fly, and give rides to patrons.
collections : The museum aircraft inventory centers around the excellent collection of James Read, our founder and president of the museum. Jim's collection started with a T-34 Mentor which was his first restoration project. As his interest grew he purchased several more aircraft including a P-51 Mustang, F4U-5 Corsair, PT-17 Stearman, T-28 Trojan, and AT-6G Texan. The latest addition to the collection is a Cessna A-37A attack jet. The collection also contains several civilian types that are also incorporated into the museum, including a twin engine Baron, Lake L-4 amphibian, and an RV homebuilt.
