overview : The Southeast Museum of Photgraphy provides world class exhibitions of contemporary and vintage photography, lectures, seminar and workshops. It is the only museum dedicated solely to photography in the southeast portion of the U.S.
collections : Permanent collection of more tham 3,000 photographs spanning the history of photography from the 1840s to the present. The collection includes works by Harry Callahan, Gordon Parks, Alfred Stieglitz, Paul Strand, Aaron Siskind, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sally Mann, Arthur Rothstein and Robert Rauschenberg, as well as extensive selections by regional artists.
hours (subject to change) : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m (Closed major holidays)
