overview : The Design Museum is committed to present world-class theme exhibitions to the students, faculty and staff of the UC Davis and to the general public throughout the Sacramento valley and surrounding communities. Through the process of exhibition design, an important component of our mission, our goal is to educate, and introduce the viewer to the discovery as found in both in the technological societies as well as third world cultures. The Museum has exhibited diverse themes including festivals from Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean, International folk toys, edible art installations, bicycle and baseball design, new technologies in textiles and furniture, set design and three international mask competitions
