overview : The CVAC serves North Alabama with exhibition space for local, regional and national touring installations. Additionally, the CVAC is home to the Daikin America Education Center offering art instruction for all ages. - The CVAC opened in April 2003 as Decatur's first and only art museum. Serving all of North Alabama, the CVAC has already presented 5 exhibits of works representing many medium types and genre including sculpture, abstracts in acrylic, outsider art, watercolors and oils.
