overview : Founded 100 years ago, the Society operates two museums, one at 32 Washington Avenue in the city of Schenectady in the historic Stockade area, and one at the Mabee Farm Historic Site in Rotterdam Junction in the western part of the county. Both contain artifacts characteristic of the 350 year Dutch and English history of the county.
