overview : The Rothschild House was built in 1868 for one of Port Townsend's founding families. It is filled with the furniture and artifacts that once belonged to the Rothschild Family. The Rothschild House is managed by the Jefferson County Historical Society. We have been in operation for 54 years operating a museum out of the landmark Port Townsend City Hall building.
