Alice Moseley's work is of the idyllic folk art genre and shows the past, as the artist chooses to remember it, not necessarily the way it really was. Miss Alice's work is characterized by her sense of humor and her vivid colors. Her work also provides future generations a historical, visual picture of rural life in the first half of the 20th Century in the American South. The Museum also houses, Miss Alice's son Tim Moseley's, 30 year collection of antiques. Included are collections of american art pottery, bennington and rockingham pottery,majolica figurals, collectible glass, currier and ives prints and much other collectible americana. hours (subject to change) : Tuesday-Friday 12 noon to 5 P.M,.
