overview : Featuring fantastic cars from around the world, past exhibits have included Bugattis, Ferraris, Shelbys, the collection of Nicola Bulgari, and extraordinary Muscle Cars. Hands-on exhibits, lectures with automobile luminaries and huge outdoor Auto Shows are highlighted events. The Saratoga Automobile Museum preserves, interprets and exhibits automobiles and carriages, and artifacts. Our focus is to celebrate and educate the general public, students and enthusiasts about the role of automobiles in this region and country's social and economic development, and the important engineering and design accomplishments these vehicles represent. x The mission of the Saratoga Automobile Museum is to display significant cars, trucks, and vehicles that not only represent the automotive heritage of new York State but the entire world of motorized transportation. In addition to a permanent collection of vehicles, a variety of workshops, interactive displays, lectures, and outdoor shows will expand the scope of the Museum. The Museum is chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York Department of Education as a not-for-profit institution. The Museum is a member of the American Association of Museums and the National Association of Automobile Museums.
