overview : Heritage Hall Museum of Freeman features the largest privately owned Indian artifact exhibit in the state of South Dakota with over 450 authentic, original artifacts depicting the culture of the 19th century Indians. Two other large buildings of display include a 1927 Lincoln-page bi-plane, large wildlife display, pioneer tools, farm machinery, antique cars and trucks, rare motorcycles, toys, household items - IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LOCATION - 748 South Main St. is the Administration bldg of Freeman Academy. The museum is directly south of the Administration Building. -
