overview : The Barlow Planetarium is a world-class facility for 3-D excitement, giant full-color special effects and crystal-clear, five-channel, 10,000 watt THX surround sound. The Planetarium serves residents and visitors to central Wisconsin throughout the year with educational and entertaining presentations on current science topics. The Barlow also hosts a popular summer camp, Space Academy, and special events throughout the year. The Barlow Planetarium has a 48-foot projection dome which serves as a window to the universe. The Planetarium seats 98 people, with four additional spaces for wheelchair access. Individuals, groups, businesses, weddings and more enjoy and use the Planetarium's facilities.
hours (subject to change) : Show Times: Thursdays (Oct-May only) at 7pm; Fridays (all year) at 7pm; Saturdays and Sundays (all year) at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm; Saturday evenings (all year) at 7pm, 8pm. Closed some holidays; call for current schedule. Private shows and school shows may be scheduled at other times.
