From their inception in 1982 until their disbandment in 1998, the seminal media group consisting of John Akomfrah, Lina Gopaul, Reece Auguiste, Avril Johnson, Edward George, Claire Joseph and Trevor Mathison created a body of work which remains one of the most singlular and influential in post-war European culture
